Portfolios

My experience with portfolios began last semester in English 1101. For our final exam we had to create a portfolio displaying all of our assignments throughout the semester. These assignments included in-class writings papers peer re!iews rough drafts and blog posts. " en#oyed creating my portfolio because " was able to design it any way " would li$e. " added pictures and !isuals to ma$e mine stand out. %owe!er since that was my first portfolio it was a little difficult learning how to create it. The first time " tried uploading a document it $ept saying there was an error and " could not figure out what was wrong. "t was then that " learned that " had to use &oogle 'hrome to upload documents instead of Firefox. (fter that problem was sol!ed " was able to use )eebly without ha!ing any problems. " thought creating portfolios was a neat assignment because it was a way to display my achie!ements and how " ha!e impro!ed as a writer o!er the semester. *nli$e turning papers and assignments in on paper )eebly allows you to display your creati!e side while exhibiting your wor$. (t the end of the semester " made a ++ on my portfolio. (fter creating a portfolio last semester " am confident that " will be able to create one that will meet the standards of my professor. (dditionally it also helps that " am familiar with )eebly so now " will not ha!e to learn how to use the site again.
