1. Our weekly Bible Studies will continue TONIGHT, February 8, 2014 @ 5 pm, with Aloma Martin teaching on unanswered prayers. Elder Clara Baptiste will lead next weeks study on Prayer. New subjects will be introduced as we continue this dialogue in 2014. Please look at the schedule in the foyer, and make your suggestions. We welcome your questions and suggestion of topics for study. For more details see the schedule in the foyer. 2. A new Adventist-owned and operated radio station for the English-speaking Christian world begins broadcasting on February 7th. Live talk shows every Friday, 8-9pm, Toronto time. You may listen live on www.RadioBibleLight.com. Presenters are Christian leaders and professionals from around the globe. Coproducer and host: Pastor Levterov & team. 3. The next Church Council (Board meeting) will take place on Sunday, February 9th at 8:30 AM (morning!) at our church hall. Please share your plans for the agenda with pastor. 4. Pathfinder Club meets tomorrow February 9th, at 10 am. 5. Inviting ALL to our mid-week church service on Wednesday night at 7 pm. It is a time for prayer, deeper Bible study, and testimonies. 6. The New Budget was voted at the Business session, January 25th. The new goal is set at $54,000, or about $1,040 weekly. 7. Social Life team meeting is called for next Sabbath, February 15th after the church service. Please come prepared to stay for an hour discussion, starting at 1 pm.

8. Youth Bible Study Groups are available for youth ages 12 -25+. Two alternative times and locations are for you to choose from. Both groups are meeting from 7 pm to 8:30 pm. All are invited; please bring your friends to grow in knowing Christ. If, for some reasons, your schedule does not permit you to join a small group, please let us know what time is convenient and we will work to organize yet another small group. 9. 13. "LAUGH YOUR WAY TO A BETTER MARRIAGE"

Alignment in Church
For a couple of years the North American Division of the Seventhday Adventists, of which our church is a part, has organized its activities by 5 principles, with acronym REACH. We had hosted a rally for al district churches with president of Ontario, Mansfield Edwards explaining why REACH. I had presented an appealing sermon last year about the need for organizing the church to be healthy, effective and functional. REACH is simply a platform that reminds us of accountability we have before each other and the sisterhood of churches to seek following: Revival & Transformation It is applicable to our individual lives; to ministries, as we all need to improve, change, grow, and, if something got neglected it needs to be revived, resurrected, restarted, renewed. Our marriages need revivals and transformations. Education & Discipleship We have always prided ourselves that as a movement we offer education as an upward movement, a way to progress. Lets keep the focus on the importance of educating our next generation, not only secular science, but the principles of godliness and Biblical spirituality. Sabbath School classes are about Discipleship, yet we lack in consistent approach to discipleship through Small Groups and mentoring, and the commitment to Christian Education, to Church school is lacking Alignment Just one word...with a lot of meaning: On the banner in church we chose a picture of a rowing team working together. A word used today in computer media is sync (synchronizing) to communicate being at one. Have we aligned our schedules, our lives to the unity of church mission and church purpose? As leaders we are asking this accountability question are our programs aligned with peoples needs and interests? Do our ministries align with one another not to interfere but to edify people for the common good? This is the most urgent and touchy subject right now. True alignment requires shedding selfish agenda and interests and putting others before self. Yet, without this one element the remaining two, and the two listed earlier become difficult, if not impossible! If we just figure out how to align ourselves for teamwork, for cooperation, for considering the Big Picture, and what everyone is doing for common benefit, then we would also succeed more in Community outreach & Evangelism Healthy Management & Leadership

14. MOVIE NIGHT! FREE screening of Hell and Mr.Fudge March 8th at 7 pm. FREE attendance, babysitting available. Refreshments after the movie. Collection will be taken with proceeds going to benefit the Church School. Based on a true story, it is a little story about big lie. Edward Fudge, a young Bible-belt preacher, gets a surprise visit from an eccentric stranger who has a bizarre request. He wants Fudge to investigate Hell. Son of a respected church leader known for his conservative religious views, Edward is confident that whatever the Bible really teaches is right. Trained in biblical languages and theology, he finds the proposal intriguing. He agrees to take it on, not knowing where it will lead. He dedicates a year of his life to a systematic study of Hell - and his life will never be the same again. You dont want to miss this learning opportunity. 15. School Constituency meeting March 29th at 7 pm. A.C.E.S of London calls all members of three constituent churches to the annual meeting, reporting on school progress, and development plans.
