Max 15 mm

Measure ment method. With unloader fully retrieved! Min 16 mm after reconditioning
&he dimension of the unloader tip from the seating edge of the cage is +arying from 68.9 to 6: mm. &he collar thic/ness of the +al+es recei+ed in %!M; is +arying from 69." to 6:.8:mm.

Conclusion
&he failure of the +al+e is $ecause of reduction in the seat thic/ness. In reconditioning the seats are machined and the thic/ness reduces $y 7.. to 7." mm depending on ho, much a +al+e needs machining. ;+entually the thic/ness reduces to such an e1tent that the unloader touches the +al+e rings in fully retrie+ed unloader position. &his ma/es +al+e plate impact on the unloader prongs and not seat resulting in failure.

Recommended Actions
The seat dimension from cage seating edge to al e seat sealing surface should !e minimum "# mm$ &his ,ill ensure that the unloader is fully retrie+ed and +al+e ,ill not remain open. Care should $e ta/en that this dimension is min. 69 mm after reconditioning.
