    Short bio Marc Molgat:

    Marc Molgat’s research focuses mainly on the lives of young people, including their housing trajectories,
    social ties and relationships with parents, as well as the integration of youths with low levels of education.
    He is currently participating in two studies funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research
    Council – one entitled “Living Alone, Living Isolated?” (2005-2008) and the other, “Student mobilities
    and identity construction” (2007-2010). Professor Molgat is the Director of the School of Social Work at
    the University of Ottawa and also a member of Scientific and Executive Board of the Observatory on
    Youth and Society (www.obsjeunes.qc.ca). A list of his publications can be consulted at
