society are they build up the children's confidence in their future, they build a stronger generation for tomorrow and the give children a hope that they can and have the power to stand up and make a difference.
II. 1st Body Point (Built up childrens confidence in their future.) A. Supporting Paragraph(Children today have broken homes and no support which often destroys their confidence which can lead to them feeling they have no future) B. Supporting ParagraphA study conducted by Harris Interactive on behalf of Big Brothers Big Sisters fiound adults mentored as children through Big Brothers Big Sisters to have the following long term outcomes: Alumni were 75% more likely than non-alumni to have received a four-year college degree (28% of alumni vs. 16% of non-alumni). Alumni were 39% more likely than non-alumni to have current household incomes of $75,000 or higher (46% of alumni vs. 33% of non-alumni) etc.

B. based on all of the research on this topic, these organizations have really changed the lives of these children and have worked hard and given support and shown compassion for kids that dont get that normally at home or with friends. C.
