    Cycloconverter is used to convert ac to ac and the output ac has different frequency and magnitude

    TYPES Step up cycloconverter output signal has higher frequency Step down cycloconverter output signal has lower frequency

    OPERATION

    Duty Cycle = Ton/ T T= Total Time = Ton + Toff Ton= On time ; Toff= off time Duty cycle= Ton/T =0.01/0.02 =0.5=0.5*100% = 50% And to remove these ripples we used the low pass filter LOW PASS FILTER SPECIFICATIONS L=1m H C=10mF And it removes the unwanted frequency and we get the fundamental frequency thats it 50 Hz. F= 1/2* 3.14(LC)^1/2 Through this formula we can calculate the value of capacitor for low pass filter
