The Committee of Ariel Sailing Club

guests to the Annual Laying-up Supper
and Prizegiving Ceremony.

The supper will be held at Harrison’s, Russell Road,

Shepperton, Middlesex, TW17 9HX on Saturday,
21st November 2009 commencing at 7:30pm.

Tickets cost £25. Transport to a mainline Rail

Station will be available. Please include menu choices
in reply.

Starters
• Soup du jour - Leek and potato soup served with freshly-baked bread.

• Sautéed mushrooms - Mushrooms infused with garlic served with garlic bread and a
mixed leaf salad.

• Tartlette - Goat’s cheese and asparagus tartlette served with a crispy leaf salad.

• Thai fishcakes - Thai seafood fishcakes served with a crispy, green salad and a sour cream
and chive dip.

Main Courses

• Farmhouse stuffed chicken - Chicken breasts stuffed with leeks, wrapped in bacon and
served with a choice of white wine or blue cheese sauce.

• Butternut squash - Butternut squash stuffed with minted cherry tomatoes, infused with
garlic and ginger, topped with melted Brie and served on a bed of pan-fried mixed peppers.

• Lamb cutlets - Herb-encrusted lamb cutlets served with rôti potatoes, a mix of seasonal
vegetables and a rich, rosemary jus.

• Sea bass - Pan-seared sea bass served on a bed of sautéed cabbage with parsley infused
new potatoes, garden vegetable and a creamy white wine sauce.

Deserts

• Ultimate sticky toffee pudding - Light, moist sponge drenched in a silky toffee sauce
served with a rich, creamy vanilla custard.

• Strawberry cheesecake - Gorgeously creamy with chumks of whole, fresh strawberries, a

subtle hint of lemon and a crunchy digestive biscuit base.

• Cheese and biscuits.

 Drinks
The hotel is a licensed premises. The bar will be available throughout the night for the provision
of alcoholic and soft drinks.
Tea and coffee shall be served following the meal.

The nearest mainline railway station is Walton-on-Thames. South-West Trains
services to Walton-on-Thames from London Waterloo depart at 12, 20, 42 and
50 minutes past the hour (Clapham Junction - 19, 29 and 59) taking
approximately 25 minutes.
The final service of the evening from Walton-on-Thames to London Waterloo
departs at 00:34 arriving at 01:02 (Clapham Junction 00:54).
