Q&A about Sports Day / any other sports event. e.g. Have you been to a sports event? What did you see? Pre-Listening 2. Show a picture of Olympic sports. 3. Guide pupils to talk about the picture. Ask questions: Eg: What can you see in the picture? Can you name the type of sports in the picture? While-Listening 4. Pupils listen to the jazz chant. 5. Chant and get pupils to chant along. 6. Ask pupils questions on the jazz chant. Eg: What are the names of the sports in the jazz chant? What type of sports can you do? Why do you like ........? Post-ListeningIn groups, pupils look at a worksheet and try to guess the individual sports. 7. They present their answers orally to the class.
