CCSS.ELA-Literacy.W.9-10.7 Conduct short as well as more sustained research projects to answer a question (including a self-generated question) or solve a problem; narrow or broaden the inquiry when appropriate; synthesize multiple sources on the subject, demonstrating understanding of the subject under investigation. Procedure: 1. Students will be given quiet time in-class to continue the research and drafting stages of their papers. 2. Individual conferences will occur randomly throughout the class period by teacher. 3. In the last 10 minutes of the class period, student progress will be evaluated by the teacher. Evaluation: Student progress on initial research will be evaluated during a walk-through by the teacher.
