Ans: Census code no. 914 (Other), is not just for Foreigners or the Myanmar Indigenous people.
That code is for the any ethnicity whether foreigners or indigenous people that not included in the
ethnicity code.
2. If the Myanmar Indigenous people choose Census code no. 914 (Other) to combine their all
ethnic groups name in one, are they going to become Foreigners or will be on the Myanmar
Indigenous people who hold pink colour NRC.
No. not at all. Ethnicity from the Census is nothing to do with nationality or citizenship. Its just for
the planning purpose. Its for the development plans. Its not for the personnel. To become a
nationality or citizenship, it will be decided accordance with 1982 Citizenship Law.
