PRECAUTIONS
To handle this rig some important facts to
remember:-
v Lifting a weight more than its counterweight is
not possible .
v Slings should be of proper size and firmly secured
on the job. Snapping of slings and slipping of
job could be disastrous.
v Do not hurry. Handle it slowly and carefully.
v Fasten a manila rope on the back of it to keep the
rig in desired direction and do not allow it to
rotate on its own.

vIt reduces the dependency of mobile
cranes.
vLower the maintenance cost.
vIncrease Mill availability.
SHORTCOMINGS OF THE RIG
