Evidence 1:

Time of Event: Unknown

Before Claudius was on the radar, he was seen pouring Poison into the ear of the sleeping King, King Hamlet. Claudius did this as a play for power, for he wanted to rule the kingdom.

Evidence 2:

Taken approximately at 5.2.69ff Claudius is responsible for Gertrudes death because he poisoned the cup that was meant for Hamlet. However, Gertrude took a sip from the cup, which eventually killed her.

Evidence 3:

Taken approximately at 5.2.390 Claudius is responsible for the death of Hamlet because he planned on poisoning Hamlet with the poisoned wine. Claudius also allowed Laertes to poison the tip of the blade that would be used to fight with Hamlet.
