SYNPOSIS

Due to the progression of the Internet in the recent decades, and the advances in production techniques, the practice of mass customization has become a hot topic. This evolution of things has forced companies into offering customized products at a large scale production, with low costs, short lead-time, high quality and a high degree of flexibility in ecommerce portal. The management of supply chains is one of the significant strategic aspects of business organizations. Managing the production of the companys good and services, monitoring storage inventories, contacting suppliers and ensuring timely distribution of goods are some of the major activities covered by supply chain management (SCM). The project aims at doing the Critical Path Analysis of the whole made to measure manufacturing supply chain in Arvind internet limited , to find out the shortest time possible to complete one order, or the longest time taken and to find out which are critical activities and which activities are having slack or float and it is shown with the help of PERT charts . For this purpose, many styles have been tracked and time study is done for the entire manufacturing supply chain. Then the reasons for delays in the entire cycle of supply chain are found out in each and every department and Cause and effect diagram is made for the same. The problems are quantified and solutions are recommended for the problems.
