Current Events Article Review

Directions: After watching the video on pollution, it is now obvious that all types of pollutions can have a direct impact on any community. There is no doubt that pollution has an impact in our lives and our communities. In this assignment, you will be (1) choosing a type of pollution, (2) finding an article related to it, and then (3) completing a article review worksheet. Please choose a type of pollution that you have an interest in learning about, as you will be covering that topic for the remainder of the unit. Requirements: One Topic (Pollution, Recycling, energy, transportation) One reviewable article (List of possible websites provided below) Article title - List the title of your article on the worksheet Cite Source List the website of where the article came from Worksheet Page 1 The 6 aspects of the article (Who, what, when, where, why, how). Complete the 6 aspects of the article in complete sentences. Worksheet Page 2 How would/could you help the community that was affected? What type of aid could you provide them with? State the type of pollution affecting the community and provide 7 possible solutions to helping solve the pollution problem.
