Ethno-Confessional Tension
in Moscow Metropolitan Area
The article is dedicated to the analysis of condition of ethno-confessional
relationships in Moscow metropolitan area. The author reveals socio-cultural
peculiarities of relationships between various ethnic and confessional groups.
Furthermore, levels of ethno-confessional tension are studied on the basis of
conducted sociological survey in Moscow.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization
and Migration Processes in Central Asia
This article is dedicated to the migration processes review in the following
Central Asian countries: Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. In
search of a response to the migration related difculties these countries face, it
is suggested to study the role played by the Shanghai Cooperation Organization
(SCO) in the migration cooperation eld and the potential of this organization. The
measures that the SCO could take to counteract the irregular migration challenges
are suggested in the end of the article.

Foreign Policy Background
of Germanys Reunication
History of Germanys reunication, including international, foreign policy
aspects of this interesting event attract analysts attention until now after a quarter
of century. It s becoming clear, that the German reunication was not only
an immediate ambition of FRGs NATO allies, but sometimes encountered their
ulterior and evident resistance. Another phenomenon in the reunication history
of two German states is its bolt from the blue as for German and also for foreign
analysts and politicians.

The main problem tackled in this research is the integration of Russia into
the global information space. The author comes to the conclusion that a save
information interaction between government, organizations, individuals and open
information resources, a balance of interests in joining the global information
space plays a signicant role in the formation of Russian common information
space today. The concept of e-government is an integration form into the
information society in terms of globalization.

Furthermore, high knowledge of the author in this sphere lets him draw a logical

War as a Factor of Modern Political Process
The article reveals a connection between war and politics in terms of
globalization which has seriously modied the war conception and resulted in its
new forms. Searching modern tendencies of violence politics the author registers
its core permanence. Freely manipulation of the war term reduces a threshold
of violence use, especially armed violence. All these often enable veiled use of
armed forces in solving existing conicts.

The Concept Moscow the Third Rome
in I.V. Stalins Geopolitical Practice
The author of the article considers the background and the attempt of
the realization of the idea Moscow the Third Rome in the Soviet Union in the
middle of the XX century. The geopolitical scale and inuence of the project was
stupendous: according to I. Stalins idea, Moscow was meant to be the center of
the Eastern Christianity. Nevertheless, the aims of that union didnt correspond to
the Christian teaching and were submitted to the logic of the political-ideological
conict between the West and the USSR.

Physical Education and Sports in the System
of Value Orientations of Modern Yourth
Todays society demands much of future specialists in turns of health and
physical qualication. In this regard working with students to strengthen health
value and to establish a need for regular physical education and sports is up-todate. However, most universities specicity doesnt set physical education as a
priority for studying. Current study becomes actual as it reviews importance and
role of the value of health for youth and popularizes sports.
The paper presents main ndings of a research held in 2011 which is devoted
to a study of youth attitude to healthy lifestyle, physical education and sports.

Glory nd Tragedy of the Red Orchestra
The origin and the work of soviet military intelligence during the Second World
War are analyzed in the article. A brief description of their contribution in victory
actions over Nazi Germany is given. Destinies of the head spies of rezidentura
Otto, Pascal and others are visible. Mistakes and miscalculations of the Center,
directory of intelligence organizations and their rankers that triggered failure and
dissolution of espionage rings the Red Orchestra are analyzed. The victory
of the soviet military intelligence over Nazi counterintelligence in the funkspiel
(a counter-espionage operation) on strategic disinformation of the enemy is
concluded.

of the History and Heritage of Russian America
The article examines the pivotal directions in the history and heritage of
Russian America: education and teaching curricula, and museum activity which is
research that is run by Dr. Petrov and his group. That activity led to cooperation
between leading researchers, travelers and statesmen.
Students of Moscow Linguistic University took part in international
conferences that have been recently organized. Presently there are a number
of poorly studied problems that could be subjects for the students diplomas and
research projects in the future. The main directions of this international cooperation
are also explored in the article.

The Factors Determining the Image of Russia
in the Context of Informational Globalization
The article discusses the basic factors determining the image of Russia
in the context of informational globalization. Russias image is heterogeneous,
diversied, is not always objective and it has a complicated multilevel structure.
It is supposed that its key tone depends on many different factors composed
for years on end not only of historical background, myths and stereotypes but
also of permanently globalizing information space. The author proves that new
technologies and rules of media world order allow presenting the information
about the country at any angle, benecial to ordering party.

The main features of the German informational propaganda, which was
promoting an aim to seize the overseas territories after the unication of the
German Empire are analyzed in the article. The author pays attention to the
founders of the colonial movement, the reasons, which led to the colonial appeals
and the colonial unions.
