    PART B WORK MEASUREMENT

    Experiment No: 1 Title: Rating Practice Using: Pin Board Assembly Objective: Rating the time component for different approaches to work. Apparatus: Pin Board, Pins and Stop watch. Procedure: The pin board is divided in to two halves one for left hand and the other for right hand. Keep the boards together in the assembly area arrange the pins in the bin on both sides of the pin board one for right and the other left. To ascertain the rating factor of the work, it is advisable to follow different methods to reach conclusive results, they are 1. Random method: Assemble the pins randomly until all pins are filled the places on Pin board. 2. Towards the centre method: Assemble the pins orderly from edge to the centre. 3. Series method: Assemble the pins either by row or by column on whole board. 4. Away from the centre: Assemble the pins orderly from split line (centre) to the edge.
