Noggerath Multi-Drum Drum Sieve System For more than 15 years, the Multi-Drum has been utilized successfully in municipal and industrial waste water treatment plants, as well as for industrial process water treatment. Originally developed for the paper industry, this system stands out for reliable and robust quality. Function The waste water is led via the inlet pipe into the headbox. There, the flow velocity is reduced and solids are distributed homogeneously in the waste water. The waste water reaches the inner surface of the rotating drum via lateral weirs. The tangential feeding of the sieve drum allows for a self-cleaning effect of the sieve surface. The solids remain inside of the screening drum and are conveyed through the drum by diverters fixed to the inner surface of the screening drum and are statically dewatered at the same time. The filtrate drains downwards.
