Al ao 1600 personas enferman y 260 de ellas mueren.

En 2011 se registro un brote por consumo de melones.

Entre 1996 y 2006 disminuyo en un 36%

69% de las personas afectadas son mujeres embarazadas.

En 2002 un brote provoco 54 casos de enfermedad, 8 muertes y 3 muertes fetales.

MTODOS GENOTPICOS

Result of real time quantitative PCR-hly assay. Plot of the individual Ct values from time repetition assay against the imput target quantity of L. monocytogenes EGD-e expressed in log10 CFU/ml showing the linearity of the quantification over a range of seven logs from dilutions of 1x 100 to 1x107 CFU/ml. The computer calculated correlation coefficient is 0.995.
