HOMEOPATHY - AN INTRODUCTION FOR FARMERS & SMALLHOLDERS

Tuesday 4th March 2014 10am - 4pm 75 / 57.25 concessions


This day is an introduction to the use of homeopathic remedies to help prevent disease and deal with simple ailments on the farm or smallholding. It will include a brief discussion of the theory and use of homeopathy and will then go on to look at specific approaches to disease in the more common farm animals, including sheep, cattle, pigs and chickens. At the end of the day those attending should have the knowledge and confidence to treat their animals using basic homeopathic principles and remedies. TUTORS Jane Keogh BVSc VetMFHom MRCVS Jane qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 1982. At present Jane takes homeopathic referrals in Dorset in all species. Jane is vice-president of the British Association of Homeopathic Veterinary Surgeons. Peter Gregory BVSc Cert IAVH VetFFHom MRCVS Peter has worked for 20 years on referral in homeopathy and acupuncture. He is President of the International Association for Veterinary Homeopathy and lectures extensively in the UK and overseas.
