Part I: Coupled microstrip TL simulations using HFSS


HFSS is a frequency-domain simulation tool but it can be used for extracting parameters which can be applied in time-domain. In this assignment, you are simulating the EM wave propagation characteristics on the coupled TL. You are not conducting the parameter extraction
PCB: FR4 R=4.4, LOSS TANGENT=0.01, THICKNESS (0.062", 1.57MM) FOR ZO = 50 OHM, W = 3 MM S = 0.5 MM OR 1 MM COUPLED LENGTH = 50 AND 100 MM WE ARE USING COUPLED TL A, B AND C ON PCB.
