I am a Post-Doctorate Research Fellow at the Institute of Special Education Studies, Palacky University, Olomouc, Czech Republic. My research, funded by the European Union, focuses on Professional partnerships between educational establishments, with a view to improving Inclusive educational practices specically in the Czech Republic. In addition, I am investigating the attitudes of school principals towards inclusion of students with SEN in regular schools, attitudes of peers and early intervention for children with SEN. Before taking up a career in academia, ! I was a teacher for children with special educational needs and provided professional development for pre-schools, primary schools in Hong Kong and teacher educators in the Asia Pacic region. I am a peer reviewer for a number of international and Asia Pacic journals. I am also an international editorial board member of the Asian Journal of Inclusive Education, the Disability Equity Research Network (DERN) UK, and a member of the UNESCO-UNEVOC centre HK. In addition, I am a registered gold mentor for students attending Manchester University. Higher Education
