TEACHER’S NOTES:
Aim: to practise and consolidate key vocabulary; arrivals. This warmer is
designed to be used in conjunction with unit 1.
Time: 30 minutes
Materials: copy of the worksheet for each student
1 Tell students to complete the words of the numbers and countries. Monitor as
they work and try to give clues if they need help. Elicit answers from the class.
Students practise saying the words with their partner as you monitor their
pronunciation. Drill words as necessary.
2 Students can work alone or with their partner to find the words in the
wordsearch puzzle from Exercise 1.
