the text!ook whi#h would *ake it easy for e.en an inexperien#ed reader of English to ?ui#kly spot the*$ 1 found this text!ook to !e a good #hoi#e for the student population it was intended to tea#h$ The infor*ation and its presentation were .ery suita!le for the experien#es and !a#kground of the students in that #lass$ The text and illustrations were #ulturally rele.ant to the* and the topi#s were presented in a *anner that is appealing to teenagers" with infor*ation #o*ing in short !ursts instead of long" endless passages$ 1 noti#ed that the !ook used a lot of photos of teenagers engaged in positi.e !eha.iors" and showed a signifi#ant nu*!er of sports figures and #ele!rities to keep the students interested$ The #ontent was a!solutely age(appropriate" #learly written" .isually appealing" engaging" and #ontained a great deal of interesting infor*ation$ The !ulk of the reading was #hallenging without !eing too !asi#$ 1t was a!solutely written with its target audien#e in *ind$
