TUTORIAL ON OSCADMODEL BUILDER

In this tutorial we will see how to build Model for MOSFET usin Os!ad" #lease note that$ before buildin %odel for an& de'i!e &ou ha'e to !han e the referen!e field of the de'i!e in the !ir!uit s!he%ati!" In the Edit Reference Field !han e the al(habet to )%* -for MOSFET. and !li!, on o," (shown in fig below)" Re(eat the sa%e for all the de'i!es in the s!he%ati!"

After this annotate the s!he%ati! and sa'e the netlist as e/(lained in the tutorial at htt(011www"os!ad"in1resour!es1tutorials1Os!ad" Then$ !li!, on model builder button on the Os!ad tool bar" (shown in fig below)"

In the window that o(ens u($ !li!, on file and then !li!, on new" (shown in fig below)"

In an another window that o(ens u($ under the field )Enter Component name* t&(e the %odel na%e -it !ould be an& na%e. and then under the se!tion )Enter type of Component* sele!t the t&(e of the !o%(onent" For the MOSFET in our !ase$ Under the se!tion )Enter Component name* we will t&(e mosfet_p and under the se!tion )Enter type of Component* we will sele!t #MOS" Finall& !li!, on O .(shown in fig below)"

2ere an window o(ens u( with the %odel (ara%eters of the de'i!e" 3ou !an !han e these (ara%eters as (er the (ro+e!t re4uire%ent and then !li!, on sa'e button" (shown in fig below)"

This will enerate &ou a new %odel with the new u(dated (ara%eters" Cli!, on O to !o%(lete it" (shown in fig below)"
