Barkley was recently hired to serve as Administrative Assistant for the newly formed local company. As MightyTykes first official employee, Barkley will assist with developing and implementing the companys basic administrative systems, as well as helping with a range of essential office functions, including bookkeeping, marketing and fulfillment. Becky concurrently works as Business Manager for a Frederick, Maryland-based software developer. In this capacity, Becky works exclusively out of her Morgan County home to manage all aspects of the business operations. Barkley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration/Marketing with a minor in Consumer Science (cum laude) from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Raised in central Pennsylvania, Barkley has lived in Berkeley Springs for the past 10 years and maintains close ties to the community. Barkley is the mom of a four-year-old girl and two boys who are very active in local sports. The Barkleys attend Hancock Grace Church of the Nazarene where her father Willis pastors. They also are actively involved with the Hagerstown Nazarene Church where husband Shawn serves as Sports Ministries Coordinator. Designed by a local special needs mom with input from physical and occupational therapists, Mighty Tykes Infant and Child Weights are cheerful wrist and ankle weights for kids birth-three with low muscle tone, weakness, palsy, tremors and sensory issues. They can help children with a variety of conditions like prematurity, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, muscular dystrophy, autismspectrum and many others. ###
