Successfully piloted a school based intervention program to support students with social, emotional, and/or behavioural barriers that expanded to a district wide program that has since been implemented in all 6 of North Vancouvers mainstream high schools Provided district wide support to staff implementing Choices intervention programs Collaborated with teachers, support staff, families, community support agencies, and students to create individualized and comprehensive behaviour support plans Collaborated with general education teachers to provide individualized learning programs with flexible methods of formative and summative assessment Gave numerous presentations on initiatives that support at-risk youth to the local PAC, school community members, and school staff. Sessions included a presentation to all staff in the Sutherland family of schools on a Curriculum Implementation Day Secured grant funding and planed multiday hiking/camping trips for at-risk youth
