Ashtyn Armon 4A Religion Our minds are all different we think in different ways from others.

That is why some people believe that practicing more than one religion is a bad, sinful thing to do. Some religions, Christianity for instance believes that it is wrong to believe in other gods. Also it would be a challenge to be able to decide what aspects and rules of which religion they would follow. If a person were to choose Christianity and Buddhism they would then run into a lot of differences between the two. Even though it is looked down upon people study multiple religions with ease. When people study more than one religion most people look down upon them because it is immoral. In the Christian bible it states in multiple passages that if you dont believe in god or choose another over him you will go to hell and other passages like that. For example, whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.(John 3:36) there are many people who believe that if you study more than one religion is a sin. As if its hard enough to follow the rules of one religion, people are throwing several together and trying to live by all of them. But what if two aspects contradict each other that a person has to choose which rule to follow out of the two. They have to choose which one they think is more morally right. Now most religions are completely different from each other making the decision harder. Buddhism and Christianity are nothing a like yet people choose those two religions the most. Buddhism for example never claimed to be deity. Jesus on the other hand claimed to be God and

not simply a way-shower but the only way to eternal life. I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.(John 14:6) Buddhism offers neither assurance of forgiveness or eternal life, like Christianity. Although studying more than one religion is looked down upon some people still do it and with ease. Even though some religions contradict each other a person can choose their ways. Just because someone practices more than one religion doesnt make them a bad person it just shows that they want to be different and learn different ways at the same time. Also just because someone practices more than one religion doesnt mean that they dont believe in God or favor one over another but they go for help from certain Gods that can help them. Studying multiple religions is looked down upon by certain groups of people. Even though it is said that in Christianity bible states that if you dont believe in him then you will go to hell. Practicing more than one religion could be a big challenge to follow by. Also even though two religions could contradict each other a person can still pick which religion they would want to follow more by. Just because a person believes in more than one religion doesnt make them bad or immoral.
