We received numerous amounts of applications that made the decision difficult. Unfortunately we are not able to take you into consideration for the position at this time. Your qualifications and application were impressive as well as your academic achievement. But unfortunately you do not qualify for the internship at this time, given that you are not a current law student. Current law students were the only ones applicable for this internship, seeing that the intern would have to conduct legal and policy research, draft memoranda and research prospects. CPF is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping people preserve their individual rights and liberties as well as providing different internship positions to students interested in civil rights issues. CPF provides students the chance to work alongside attorneys in the organization within different litigation cases as well as working alongside politicians in the organization. Therefore internship opportunities are always available. There are different internships positions that are available for any student in any major with an interest in civil rights. Your application will remain active within the next six months. If you are interested in any other available internship with CPF simply re-submit your application for that internship.
