Big data platform for IoT Cloud Analytics

Internet-of-Things & Big data analytics are strategic areas of growth for Intel. Intel is developing a cloud analytics platform for IoT, big data technologies based, to provide cutting edge services for companies and developers who wish to implement an IoT solution. During the lecture, we will present the platform and its key layers of services. In addition, the lecture will include a demonstration of a platform implementation, where it is used for Parkinson Disease research. Intel, in partnership with the Michael J. Fox & Andy Groove foundations, is building a wearable cloud analytics services to enable 24/7 patients monitoring using wearable devices in order to trace minor changes, identify episodic events and expedite research as a result.
