SPECIFICATION REPORT
Name of the work:-Repairs to the Damaged Culvert at Idduvanipalem Est.Cost.Rs.0.50 lakhs As per the instructions of the instructions of the Dy.Exe.Engineer,PR,Ichapuram and as per the need,it is proposed to repair the damaged culvert at Edduvanipalem village of Kavity(M). The village Idduvanipalem is situated at sea-shore edge.The villagers are always being suffered due to erosion of houses and road portion,due to sea back water tides and waves.The above village road is gradually eroding.Further,the existing culvert at the entrance of the village is badly damaged and the deck slab of the culvert is partially collapsed.Due to the rains from 3-10-2004 to 6-10-2004,the culvert is further damaged and road portion was also partially eroded.At present only two wheelers can go on the culvert. Hence,it is proposed to repair the culvert and to strengthen the eroded road portion by gravel packing.The following provisions are made in the estimate. 1.Provision for cost and supply of steel 2.Provision for Rabbit Mesh 3.Provision for C.C(1:2:4) for parapet walls 4.Provision for VRCC(1:2:4) for DECK SLAB 4.Provision for gravel packing The estimate is prepared as per the current SSR,i.e.2004-2005 rates and the work will be carried out as per APDSS.
