This project facilitate optimum distribution of power without load shedding.

Light loads are allowed to operate at anytime according to the requirement of consumers. Simultaneously restrictions are imposed on heavy loads during peak hours. The total power available is divided uniformly among consumers. This system facilitates sustainable utilization of power. The substation zone calculates amount of power available in the system. This data is transmitted to line zone by using a zigbee module. From lane zone the whole available power is distributed uniformly to different house units. The house unit receives this data through a zigbee module. This data is then fed to a microcontroller. The microcontroller is preprogrammed to cut off heavy loads operating beyond this range. The process of cutting off of supply is performed by a relay circuit. When the peak hour is over the home circuit retains its original form. The meter reading is send directly to substation through a GSM module. This data is received at the substation in a GSM modem.
