Collarts Tuition fees for courses commencing in 2012 and 2013


June 10, 2012 Collarts degree programs are run over two years or six trimesters. The fees are charged on a trimester basis. The tuition fee per trimester is $6,750. The total fee for the completion of a Collarts degree is therefore $40,500. Fees can be paid in full to Collarts, or students can have their fees paid through the FEE-HELP Tuition Assistance Scheme or via a combination of both.

Tuition Assistance Scheme (FEE-HELP)


Collarts courses are recognised and approved by the Australian Government, and Collarts is an approved provider able to offer FEE-HELP student loans to its students. FEE-HELP is an Australian Government loan scheme that helps eligible students pay their tuition for higher education undertaken at approved institutions. The Australian Government pays these fees directly to the institution in which you are enrolled though it does also charge an additional $1,687.50 per trimester over and above the Collarts fee. The repayment of the Fee-HELP loan is deferred until the student is employed and earning an income in excess of $47,195 per annum. Loan repayments are then made through the taxation system.

Who is eligible for FEE-HELP?


All students enrolling in Collarts 2012 and 2013 courses are eligible for FEE-HELP provided they: Are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa with approved residency for the duration of their course; Submit a completed Request for FEE-HELP Assistance Form; Have not already exceeded the FEE-HELP limit of $89,706 through previous study. The Collarts Registrar can assist you in relation to questions you may have regarding FEE-HELP as well as providing you with the necessary documentation, the Request for FEE-HELP Assistance form and the FEE-HELP information guides for 2012 and 2013.
