The house assigned to us was located in the Upper Ninth Ward and the project consisted of cleaning and repairing evident damage, insulating the home, and hanging drywall. Student Conservation Association, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Michigan Crew Member: June-August 2006 Back-country crew member responsible for trail maintenance and upkeep. The objective of this crew was to build trail boardwalks and turnpikes to keep hikers from destroying plant life near the trails by deviating from the set course.
