One to One Correspondence: Air plane windows and bingo markers Objective: Children will be able to place the

bingo markers on the airplane, as the windows, and count as they do so. They will be able to count to ten. Directions: Have the children count to ten as they place the bingo markers on the windows of the airplane. Foundations: F.1.18 Apply one-to-one correspondence with objects and people F.1.3 Count each object only once F.1.19 Identify the next number in a series of numbers up to ten

Matching: Matching sailboats Objective: Children will be able to match the sailboats together based on the color of each sailboat. Directions: lay the sailboats out on the table or other surface, and have the children match them together based on their color. Foundations: F.1.22 Name groups of objects F.3.13 Categorize familiar objects by function and class

Memory: Memory game with transportation objects Objective: Children will be able to use their memories and trial and error to play the memory game. Directions: lay the cards with the black side up on a flat surface. Have the children turn two cards over at a time and try to match the same pictures together, once a match has been made pick those two cards up and place aside. If a match has not been made turn the cards back over and try again. Foundations: F.3.13 categorize familiar objects by class and function F.4.6 sort by one attribute

Seriation: Small, medium, and large school buses and garages Objective: Children will be able to name the buses, small medium or large, and match them to the small, medium and large garages. Directions: lay the buses and garages on the table. Have the children find the small one and match it to the small garage. Do the same for the medium and the large buses and garages. Foundations: F.4.6 sort by one attribute F.5.4 use any descriptive word or gesture to express amount or size

Literacy: Words and pictures match Objective: Children will be able to recognize the words and match them to the correct picture Directions: Lay the pictures and words out in any order and have the children match the words to the correct picture. Foundations: F.7.12 follow two step spoken directions with prompts F.7.13 use trial and error to solve a simple problem

Science: Picture puzzle Objective: children will be able to complete a puzzle of a picture Foundations: F.4.20 Complete an interlocking puzzle of 8-12

Hand /Eye: Use a magnet to pick up and move cars Objective: children will be able to use materials to move cars from one area to another Foundations: F.1.7 use age appropriate scientific equipment when participating in scientific experiences F.1.8 engage in scientific experiment with a peer or with small groups of children using sharing/turn taking skills

Gross Motor Hop on pictures Objective: Children will be able to identify pictures and hop to them Directions: Place pictures out on the floor in any order. Have the children identify the picture as they hop on it Foundations: F.1.1 perform locomotor and non-locomotor skills at a basic level F.4.18 identify attributes of objects

Classification Land, air, and water pictures and objects Objective: Children will be able to determine which vehicles go with which picture (land, air, or water) Foundations: F.4.18 identify attributes of objects F.3.1 participate in activities using materials with a variety of properties

Social Studies Town map Objective: Children will be able to use materials to create a map of their town Directions: Allow children to look at pictures, use paints, and create a picture of a town and what the town might consist of Foundations: F.3.9 make roads for toy trucks and cars F.3.4 identify and locate familiar places

Creativity Decorate an airplane Objective: children will be able to use their creativity to decorate an airplane to display Foundations: F.2.16 demonstrate increasing skill in using different materials F.2.19 use a variety of materials to create original work

Fine motor Stamping Objective: children will be able to use their fine motor skills to create and identify stamps on paper Foundations: F.3.15 identify common community symbols

Cooperation Paint a mural Objective: Children will be able to create a mural with paints and drive cars, trucks, and other vehicles into paint and onto the paper to create a mural for the classroom Foundations: F.2.13 start sharing objects with others F.5.9 use interpersonal skills of sharing and taking turns in interactions with others
