The social and economic states of the United States are far from perfect in health care, money, and jobs many people want health care free while others say thats taking money out of our hard working taxpayers. its no secret that we keep raising the national debt ceiling more and more. Jobs seem to be a big problem with our rising population. but how does this compare to the social and economic conditions of the French revolution. is the united states set on a course to a revolution?

United states health care seems quite important to me but if you look at it it can be quite expensive for the government to do. Health care spending in the United States is characterized as being the most costly per person as compared to all other countries. And despite this spending the quality of health care overall is low by some measures. Government healthcare programs cover almost 20 % of the US population which is large. But some Americans don't qualify to be a part of this government funded program. Almost 84.7% of Americans have some sort of health care. Which is good but that 20 percent is what costs the government the big bucks. Some people think this is reason enough to start a revolution but i think that it would be silly to start a revolution over this.

Now lets move on to money we know that America spends a lot importing goods and paying for healthcare. The United States has been the world's largest national economy since at least the 1920s.when it looked like a recession was getting close the government strengthened the economy by spending lots itself or making taxes smaller so that people would spend more. The debt limit is the total amount of money that the United States government is allowed to borrow. Including Social Security and Medicare benefits and military money so on its also called the national debt ceiling. America has raised the debt ceiling quite a lot. Our debt is currently at 17318114610880.60 and rising fast. it think is something that if not handled could cause something to happen not necessarily a revolution.

Jobs everyone gets on at one time or another but what if you couldn't get a job well you wouldn't be alone. The current unemployment rate is hovering around the 9.4 areas so that means that 9.4 % of our population is unemployed which isn't good. 4.6 million Of People in the us are working at minimum wage which is putting them in poverty. Poverty is when people are lacking enough money to feed and clothe

themselves and their family.

there was a time

called the great depression when almost everyone was in poverty because the stock market crashed some people see the stock market as just a thing showing that the great

depression was starting not what caused it. the amount of people that had jobs was low and the people who had jobs made pitiful money. this sort of thing i think could definitly cause a revolution if it got bad enough.

the united states social and economic state is in slight disarray but i think if we crack down it won't cause a revolution. if we try to keep government funded health care less used we wouldn't spend as much money and maybe even cut back on some other things it would help out and we might even be able to increase the minimum wage requirements and help out the people who are in poverty.

Now what were the social and economic states of the French revolution. There was severe hunger because none of the crops would grow so food prices were high, on top of that they had a king who was incompetent and too young along with that his wife was a huge spender earning her the name Madame deficit because she spent so much. and almost just as bad the lower class even though they were 89 % of the population they had the same amount of power as the clergy or noblemen who made up 11% and owned 60% of the land.

hunger was a huge problem because they relied on their farms for food and money but the long winter and the plague that infected the crops. hardly any thing came from harvests. the people relied on bread and when the wheat was scarce people started stealing or even killing for bread. people got tired of the king eating so much

when they

were starving that is

why they started revolting. they took down a prison/ armory and stole the weapons and then tore the place down brick by brick. the women later started a march and went and stormed the mansion and capture the king and his food and then marched him back down to the city and put him in a dungeon along with his wife.

the king was a horrible person to choose to be king but his father died when he wasn't yet trained in being a king. he spent most of his time doing social things like going to parties rather than worrying about the growing problems with the lower class. even though the food was scarce he ate like he hadn't eaten in weeks a was a very

plump man.

his wife wasn't better she was also more into

social things rather than political she loved to spend the kings money on jewelry, dresses, and hair design which earned her the name Madame deficit. when the king learned that the people were revolting he sent his army into Paris and then held up in his mansion. until he was captured in the women's march.

the clergy and nobles held too much power they held of the power even though they only made up 11% of population. the thing made it so they could oppose anything the lower class said they also owned too much of the land the lower class only held 40 % of the land which was mostly used for farming but they couldn't get as much farming done. until some brave people got together on a tennis court and started the tennis court act where the would keep meeting even if they were kicked out until they got more power.

these are some major parts to the French revolution. from the hunger that forced them to act, to the king who couldn't see over his own gut with is spending wife at his side, and finally the unfair distribution of land power and wealth.

This is what causes revolutions not petty things like health care. the united states may not be in the best condition but it sure isn't in the worst condition. we don't have an incompetent leader who eats and spends too much. we dont have any food problems infact that would be the least of our worries. we even have a fair government who tries hard to do what it does.

In the united states we don't need to revolt because we can speak up and get things changed because in the united states we have the right to peacefully assemble which allows us to do things that they couldn't have in the french revolution. we also have the freedom of speech, press, and to express ideas. these are all peaceful ways we can change things without a revolution.

the freedom of speech helps us because we can go out and say i don't like the government it needs to change and peacefully assemble to make a difference. we have the right to write something about it that we want a change thanks to freedom of the press. and the freedom to express ideas is help full because we can say all of this and this is just what we think should happen and maybe we can get something useful done.

i think it is justified to revolt if the government is in a state of disarray and our rights are being denied it is ok to revolt. but only if the problems are worse that the government can handle of if the government has been compromised. we should be able to make the changes we think are necessary for our country to be how we want it. but revolting can be good or bad.

A revolution should be allowed within bounds. Unlike the French revolution it should be more peaceful with less mindless killing people revolution is like a sweet candy its good every once in a while but too much is bad
