MENTORING AGREEMENT Leadership Development Program 2013-2015 This agreement is between the Mentor, Christy Moriarty, and the

Mentee, Lisa Peel, and will last for the duration of the Mentees participation in the Leadership Development Program. The Mentees objectives for the Mentoring Program:
To develop relationships college-wide To gain a broader perspective of the college procedures and how they impact my current role To build leadership skills

Specific assistance Mentor will provide to assist Mentee in achieving objectives:

To facilitate visit at Owens Campus (activity F) To offer various means of contact (IM, cell, text, etc.) To encourage creative problem-solving, reflection rather than solving problems To act as good listener, and be open-minded and supportive

Steps Mentee will take in order to achieve these objectives:

Communicate regularly Be candid about progress Ask for help/support as needed Allow mentor to help navigate process

Activity Completion in Year One:

Activity A (Oct. 2013) Activity E (Nov. 2013) Activity G (Campus-wide Planning Committee Debbie St. Jean) Activity J, K, L, M, N Activity O (Boys & Girls Club fundraiser board) Activity R (United Way) Contact mentor once a month at a minimum Complete activity summaries within 1 week of event

Activity Completion in Year Two:

Review in May 2014 during first year wrap-up, plan for anything unaccomplished in year one

Activity and Seminar Reflections will be completed within one week after the activity of seminar and a copy forwarded to the Mentor.

Participation requires an agreed upon schedule to interact that is at least once a month; interaction may include face-to-face meetings, telephone, e-mail and /or other means.

At the end of the first year, an in-person group meeting of all mentors and mentees will be held for group discussion and to review goal accomplishment and refine as necessary. This mentoring agreement sets forth the objectives that the Mentor and Mentee commit to working on together. Both agree to follow the guidelines of this agreement and to make a good faith effort to resolve any issues that may arise between them.
