Ingredients: 6 brown bread slices 1 liter low fat milk 16 almonds 2 tsp chironji 1/2 tsp cardomom powder 8 sachets of sugar free powder (preferably sucralose) few strands of saffron Method 1. Toast the bread slices on a nonstick tawa (cut each into 2 triangles).keep aside. 2. Soak 10 almonds in hot water for an hour, peel and make a paste. Keep aside. 3. Boil milk till it is reduced to half the quantity (under low heat). Add elachi powder, almond paste, sugar free powder and keep the milk for another 2mins by stirring continuously. 4. Sprinkle saffron dissolved in a tsp of milk and remove. 5. Arrange the bread pieces in a plate and pour the prepared mixture over them. Decorate with remaining almonds slivers and chironji. 6. Let it cool and soak for 15mins. Serve chill.
