Lesson Rationale: Connection to School Improvement Plan: (A message from our Principal) Fundamentally our organization is about educating and graduating each and every student. As I shared at our last Wednesday staff meeting, I believe setting a bold goal of 100% graduation is the right thing to do. This does not suggest changing our standards or our rigor, but figuring out what is missing in these students experience. The leadership team will be tackling some of the first steps in our meeting today, and we will continue our work as a whole staff in our upcoming PD times. This is a good challenge; one that as an institution we can be proud of. Every staff member has a role to play; from the services offered through our various offices, to the counseling we provide to students, and the quality of instruction and curriculum we provide each day. I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts and collaborating on a school improvement plan (SIP).
