To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this letter on behalf Connor Mc Kern. I have known Connor for the last two years as his Chemistry and BASS teacher. In this capacity I have had the privilege of getting to know Connor and watch him grow in both maturity and responsibility. In his junior year it would have been difficult to write a letter of recommendation for Connor because his academic performance was not often reflective of his true abilities. As a senior however I have watched Connor take full responsibility for himself and his education. He gets his work done in a timely manner and has a great attitude. As my teachers aide I depend on him to grade papers, make copies and other general classroom jobs. He has a quick, logical mind and gets these tasks done quickly and correctly with little instruction. While Connor is not always a fan of school work he has an intelligence that cannot be taught, a general logic and problem solving ability that allows him to grasp concepts quickly and assures his success in his chosen career. As seniors many students are still looking for a path to take once they graduate. Connor has known what his path is for the last two years and has already taken steps to follow it. He has enlisted in the army and is working out with his recruiter every week to help prepare himself for his new career. In talking to him, his dedication to the army is clear, his path is clear, and his success is inevitable. Thank you for giving me this opportunity to recommend Connor to your program.
