The Economist Newspaper, 6 Oct. 2012. Web. 7 Apr. 2014. <http://www.economist.com/node/2156419 This source talks about how choices that people make are based on genetics. Tests between identical and fraternal twins were made in order to prove or disprove this theory. The body politic is shown by how the sets of twins vote or make decisions in their communities. Dr.Hatemi and Dr.McDermotts are the lead genetic political scientists doing these different tests on the twins. The author of this article shows examples and graphs of the doctors research on how genetics affect political views and family values. This source was somewhat helpful with my topic. The information about the body politic wasnt exactly all that clear. However, it was very interesting information. I will probably not use too much of the information I was given in my final draft.

I will use examples from the passages in my final draft.

The scientists that havent left their labs are unsure whether they should or not. They believe they are helping their communities enough just by giving the people their research. This article was very interesting to me and I plan to use all kinds of examples given to me from this reading.

I learned a lot within the short reading and I would recommend this article to anyone doing research on bacteria or how the human body itself is a body politic.

The technologies in the story are compared to those of today and how accurate Huxley was in predicting whether they would become real or not. Honestly after I started reading I found that this had nothing to do with the body politic made it did help me to better understand the authors point of view and some of the story itself.

Among the people being interviewed there is a priest and a professor. They discuss how the catholic community reacts to choices made by catholic politicians. They give their opinions on whether they agree with the politicians decisions about abortion laws. This article is an interview therefore it states the opinions of public figures. Opinions arent facts. This does help give some insight on what the body politic is like from a religious view but I dont think it would be good in a paper.
