Here in upstate New York we are known for our beautiful white glistening winters. However, Spring is welcomed more often than not to melt away the snow and reveal our truly most beautiful season. Thats why here at Something Blue we are holding our annual extended weekend event, Spring into Love, starting Thursday April 23, 2014. Simply beRemember, our event not only offers events held here at Something Blue, but also includes our outside planning friends who have agreed to join us in our kick-off to spring. Springtime isnt only to welcome warm weather and iced drinks instead of hot, but it is also a time to celebrate and appreciate all of the beautiful things our world, and Capital District, have to offer. This is why to start off Spring into Love we are featuring our close photographer friends. Not only can these talented artists create beautiful images for you and your family to cherish but they can take any theme or idea and make them completely unique to you.You can make an appointment for a free consultation or stop in anytime to see their portfolios which will be on display in our shop during all of our festivities. Stop by and see how our photographer friends can accentuate your spring wedding colors and make them vibrantly pop to be remembered forever in all of your photos.

IN THE AIR continued from page 1 Speaking of beautiful colors and patterns, be sure not to miss our seamstress Shannon who will be with us all day Saturday April 25, 2014 for advice on bridesmaid dresses! What better way to celebrate spring than with a colorful dress? Even if you already have your dresses, are still looking or have not even started Shannon can help you get on the right track with picking out the best hue for your girls. Last but not least, you cannot have a party without food and drinks! Our final event all day Sunday April 26, 2014 will be our taste test prepared by the finest caterers and chefs. Each of our talented food and drink agencies will have full menus available for you to look at as well as a range of samples ready to make your taste buds happy. All food and drinks made during our taste test event will range from popular dishes to brand new springtime flavors and can be altered to fit your personal needs. Make sure to pick up contact cards and put your name on the mailing list of each of our chefs! All weekend long (April 23-26) the staff of Something Blue will be in office, ready for all of your springtime questions. Our trained planners and staff are more than happy to sit down with you for a free consultation any time.
