SPECIAL MEETING WITH REPRESENTATIVES FROM SM SUPER MALLS

FOR THE 2012 LABOR DAY JOBS & LIVELIHOOD FAIR

MINUTES
The special meeting with representatives from SM Super Malls convened at around 9:30
AM with OIC, Assistant Regional Director NELSON C. HORNILLA presiding.
Present were Directors from the six (6) different Field Offices of DOLE-NCR, staff from
TSSD-Developmental, this Office and representatives from the Admin and Legal Offices
of SM Super Malls.
OIC, Assistant Director Hornilla thoroughly discussed the project proposal for the 2012
Labor Day Jobs and Livelihood Fair.
Representatives from SM informed the body that its all systems go for their simultaneous
Job Fairs to be held in their various malls nationwide.
However, no Job Fair will be held at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) because of its close
proximity to the Manila World Trade Center (WTC), where the Department is staging the
2012 Labor Day Job and Livelihood Fair Celebrations.
SM representatives submitted to Ms. LORNA R. OBEDOZA, OIC-Chief, TSSDDevelopmental, this Office, a partial list of their mall tenants who will be joining the
Labor Day Job Fair at the WTC.
SM agreed to promote the day long activity by posting advertisements in their electronic
billboards located at their various malls.
They also requested for tarpaulin posters for them to display at strategic areas inside and
outside their malls.
Lastly, SM representatives showed and discussed data showing their accomplishments
from previous May 01 Labor Day Job Fairs.
There being no other issues to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 1:30 pm.
