As part of my Management/Administration/Leadership rotation, I conducted
clinical and customer service quality management activities. I accomplished quality management activities by conducting Performance Improvement evaluations. I performed a Test Tray Accuracy and Trayline Accuracy valuation. The Test Tray Accuracy !as done secretively by ordering a selected meal for lunch and I had it sent to a vacant patient room. The order !as put in around ""#"$am and !e received the meal at about ""#%&am. Part of the evaluation !as to assess ho! !ell the Ambassador can deliver the tray in a timely manner. The goal is to deliver trays !ithin %' minutes of placing the order. (e received the meal in )" minutes, !hich is a very good time. This test tray also revealed the accuracy of the Trayline, !hich includes the e*po, supervisor, and coo+. (e evaluated ho! !ell the tray compared to the meal tic+et order. All of the supplies and food items !ere correctly on the tray. The ne*t step to the evaluation !as to test the temperature of the food on the tray, as !ell as the appearance and taste of the food. According to the scoring guidelines, the tray scored very !ell for appearance and taste, but the temperature of the food items needs improvement. ,randvie! is !ell a!are of certain temperature issues they have in the +itchen and they !or+ing on improving the temperature of food. This test tray evaluation successfully displayed Performance Improvement program goals and ob-ectives.
