Sterile syringes, tourniquets, tracheotomy
needle, barrier devices for delivery of CPR,
and several oral airway services
Oxygen inhalation equipment, if office
does not have nitrous/oxygen equipment in
each treatment room
Stimulants (ammonia inhalants, thin glass
vials of ammonia covered with a string
gauze fabric that can be broken easily)
Vasodilators that will increase oxygenated
blood supply to heart (such as
nitroglycerin, translingual nitroglycerin, or
amyl nitrite inhalants)
Antihistamine drugs (such as adrenaline-
epinephrine, benadryl-antihistamine, solu-
corticosteroid, or aminophyline-
bronchodilator). An epi-pen (a two dose
syringe of epinephrine) is recommended
for quick and easy delivery.
Vasopressor to increase blood pressure
(such as wyamine)

Analgesics for pain (such as talwin)
Depresants for convulsion ( such as
diazepam)
Vagal blockers to increase pulse rate
(such as atropine)
