The importance of the Simple Past tense in the English/Spanish speakers

Resumen de la unidad
It is important to know how to use The Simple Past Tense, specially the verbs
to write sentences in affirmative, negative and questions. The students will
make oral repetition practices of the verbs. They will talk about their
activities in the past and creates conversations using different forms
.Besides, they are going to prepare an illustrated booklet with some verbs in
present changing them to the past and the Spanish translation respectively.
Finally they will be able to present a role play and send it by the web
(montage)

De Inicio:
I will evaluate the conversation between the students and they have to
use The Simple Past Tense, the illustrated booklet with the verbs in
Present verbs changed to the past and the Spanish translations.
De Desarrollo : I will evaluate their performance in my questions about
their last mid-term vacations and the uses of the correct verbs.
De Cierre: At the end of the topic I will evaluate them with a written test
of the different forms of the rules in the Simple Past.

They will demonstrate the pronunciation of the past tense abilities in

ACTIVITY 1
The teacher will make a brief presentation that invite students to participate
Giving the ideas by brainstorming.
1. Analyzes the video individually
2. Makes a booklet of the regular verbs in the Simple Past Tense and
illustrate it.
3. After finished analyzing the learning situation presented in the video
individually answer the past questions.

Shares their knowledge in sub- groups about the topic in google drive.
1. Makes sub-groups using stop light technique and assign a role to each
student.
2. Makes comment in sub- groups the different opinions with the purpose
with make good conclusions about the past.
3. Discuss in the group the conclusions represented by a leader group.
4. Presents a conversation between two students about activity in the
past and present a movie maker

The Last Funny weekend
Amanda : Hi, Carolina how was your weekend?
Carolina: I visited my parents in Chiriqui with my cousins.
Amanda : I was studying some science and didnt have time to get fun.
Carolina: Really! thats was so bored Amanda I cant believe it.

Amanda: I really enjoyed with my parents and friends in the river and we
went to play baseball and football. We visited a new luxury restaurant .

Carolina: Well, you know that I traveled to USA last year thats why I have to
study now because I need to improve my English classes this year.

Amanda : Ok Carolina it was nice to spend time talking to you , take care
and try to get good grades in school.

Carolina: Ok Amanda have a nice day, bye bye.

ACTIVITY 2
For the development of this activity they meet these characteristics:
1. Divide the classroom in groups of five students.

2. After watched the Simple Past video , they used the information to
present a movie maker and power point with images loaded on the
internet or personal pictures. With this activity they will be able to
show their knowledge of the correct use of the Simple past Tense.

3. Makes team groups using the numbers technique to propose possible
solutions to all challenges. To get interact with the students the
correct use of the Simple past tense.
4. Analyze the purposes given to the team that develop this challenge and

shares with the group by google drive.

The student have to develop an activity to make a self evaluation all the
points studied during the learning processs.
