MATERNAL-CHILD
HEALTH PROGRAM
Since 1920, the Maternal-Child Health
Program has provided comprehensive
nursing services to City residents in the
home setting.
Services are provided to postpartum
women and newborns within 24-48
hours of discharge. Support of breast-
feeding families is an important part of
our program. This division also provides
follow-up visits to patients referred for
care for delinquent well child care, or
children at risk for developmental delays
due to medical or social factors.

reducing infant mortality

PREGNANCY PATHWAYS
OF GREATER CINCINNATI
The Pathways program offers social
support for women residing in targeted
neighborhoods who are facing personal,
economic and medical challenges during
their pregnancy. A Community Health
Worker:
Delivers one-on-one support
Addresses barriers to care
Confrms pregnancy education
