Personally my ability to create and administer assessments grew tremendously throughout this
semester. I have broadened my knowledge of who, what, where, when, and why of giving
assessments to students as well as assessing my peers and myself. I have also grown stronger in
reflecting upon myself and my lessons.

I definitely achieved my first goal of fully understanding what community and environmental
health are and be able to plan an effective health lesson. I was able to reach this goal through
completing all the course work and coming to class and engaging myself every day. My second
goal of advocating for community and environmental health will not be able to be achieved
until I am teaching in a school and am able to hold family health nights.
