To Whom It May Concern:
I am acquainted with Alexis Macchia through art classes here at Western High. Since I met Alexis, she has shown an interest in learning art. She would and will take her projects home to work on them. I do not have many students who show that level of dedication to improve their art skills. Alexis has matured a great deal since I met her. She understands that some classes like art require extra effort. She has learned the difference between problem solving and being given all the answers. Most students do not figure out the importance of this until they are in college. Alexis has expressed a desire to become a physical therapist. If Alexis has figured out what it takes to succeed in art, she most certainly will succeed at becoming a physical therapist. Alexis Macchia is an enthusiastic young lady and she has set a great goal for herself. I believe the skills she has learned in high school, especially art classes will help her achieve this goal. Alexis is detailed oriented; I believe this skill will help her achieve everything she wants to accomplish in her life.
