THE SEASON OF HARVEST

Only wise hearts discern seasons.

Harvest precedes planting. Harvest is impossible without planting. The provision of God
is for two reasons:

1. Sowing
2. Sustenance

The reason why many people’s lives are dried of good things (which is why they struggle
for the good things of life) is because their attitude toward life is contrary to their
expectations.

The kingdom where we belong is a kingdom that is programmed with seasons

(Deuteronomy 11:11, 12; 1 Chronicles 12:32).

Right attitudes that generates harvest

1. One of the things that boost harvest is obedience (Deuteronomy 11:13-15).

2. Maintaining the presence of the Holy Spirit in one’s life (Isaiah 32:15).
3. Thanksgiving (John 6:8-13). If you don’t thank God for the little in your hand, you
may not be qualified for increase.
4. Praise (Psalm 67:5-7). When you praise Him for who He is, for what He has done, for
what He is doing and for what He promised to do, you provoke Him for the miraculous
(Exodus 15:11).
5. Kingdom investment (Haggai 1:4-10; Matthew 6:31-33).
6. Service (Job 36:11)
7. Rejoicing in the Lord always, no matter what (Joel 1:12; Deuteronomy 28:47-48;
Habakkuk 3:17-19).
8. Doing good (Matthew 5:7; 7:12; Psalm 34:10-12). You may never see good if you
don’t do good!
