Selina Hossain

One of the important writers of Bengali literature
Recipient of many awards Bangla Academy
Puraskar, 1980, Alaol Purashkar, Ford
Foundation.
Majority of her books are part of syllabus, and
her works are translated into many languages.
Her works are Mohinis Wedding, Hangor, Nodi,
Grenade.
Her writings depict rage against colonial rulers of
undivided India. Her writings also depict poverty
stricken, uneducated women fighting against
traditional families and marriage.



Tahmina Anam

A novelist, columnist and writer
Shortlisted for Guardian first Book Award and
Costa First novel Prize and also a winner of
Common Wealth Writers Prize.
Her famous works are A Golden Age, The
Good Muslim.
